    Weekdays - 9.30am / 12pm / 3pm / 5.30pm

    Saturdays - 9am, 11.30am & 2.30pm

    This gives us time to clean down after treatments, prepare for the next group of guests and allows time for staff breaks.

    Doors will open 10 minutes before your allocated time. Please note, that we do not have a waiting area.

  • We offer a signature 2-hour experience, priced at £150. This indulgent treatment includes a bespoke head spa ritual, carefully tailored to your individual hair and scalp needs, followed by a professional blow-dry and styling to leave your hair feeling beautifully refreshed and restored.

    This does not include a haircut, however you can add this on at your second appointment for an additional cost of £50.

    Bookings can be made on our booking system, via email or Instagram. A 50% deposit is taken upon booking.

  • Yes, you can! We can accommodate up to 4 people per session.

    Please note that all treatments are performed in separate rooms, each guest having their own therapist. All blow dry’s take place in the same room, where you can unwind together.

    Due to high demand, we currently have a waitlist for Weekend availability.

  • Lateness Policy

    We cannot guarantee your full service if you arrive more than 15 minutes late. Where possible, we may offer a shortened treatment; however, the full service price will still apply. If we are unable to accommodate your appointment due to lateness, we reserve the right to retain the 50% deposit as a late cancellation fee.

    Cancellation Policy

    Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours prior. After this time, all deposits are non-refundable — this includes bookings made using gift vouchers.

    Failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in 100% of the service being charged.

    Please note that repeated rescheduling may result in the loss of your booking or gift voucher.

    Clients are responsible for attending their appointment. Reminders are sent out 36 hours prior to your appointment time.

  • We are located inside Lloyd House, 18 Lloyd Street, Manchester, M2 5WA — this is our only location.

    The Head Spa is a private salon, designed to offer a calm and personalised experience.


    Please note, we do not accept walk-ins — all visits are by appointment only.

  • We’re a proudly independent business based in Manchester City Centre, and are in no way affiliated with any other head spas.

    Our focus is on delivering a truly personalised and high-quality experience, unique to our space and our team.

  • You can purchase e-vouchers from our booking system - £50, £75, £100, £150 & £300.

    Physical Vouchers can be purchased by guests during an appointment.

    *If you bought a voucher between April - October 2024, all vouchers have been extended until 2026

    All vouchers have a 1 year expiry.

    Booking with an E- Voucher

    When booking with a gift voucher over £75 - £75 will be taken as the deposit and the remainder of the voucher will be taken on the day of the appointment.

    Please note that we cannot help with lifting on and off the bed.

  • We would love to offer this service to pregnant women but unfortunately it is not recommended due to complications that can arise from lying on your back for lengthy periods as well as using certain oils which can have affects on mummy and baby. You and your babies health come first

    If you have found out you’re pregnant and have an appointment booked please contact us to reschedule.

  • You must be ages 16+ to attend the head spa as it is an adults only environment.

  • The products which we use are all natural ingredients that come from the ground.

    Our oils are NUT FREE however, our hair products may contain traces of nuts / citrus fruits / Limonene and Linalool

  • Our Head Spa treatments are designed to be gentle yet effective and suitable for various skin types, including sensitive scalps. We use organic products rich in vitamins and minerals which are essential for healthy hair growth.

    Please know that we are not medical professionals and we cannot diagnose skin conditions.

    We cannot perform this service on anyone with seborrheic dermatitis, or folliculitis which is not currently being treated.

  • We need proper access to the scalp, therefor we cannot perform services on customers with extensions (of any kind) braids, locks, or sew-ins as these obstruct access to the scalp and pores.

  • Yes! All hair types are welcome. We don’t specialise in cutting/styling curly hair but the treatments are suitable for everyone.

    Hair can be defused or left to dry naturally.

  • Please note that haircuts are not included within your head spa session.

    If you would like to include a haircut on a 2nd visit, please speak with your therapist during your appointment or contact us to arrange.

    This service is available at an additional cost of £50, extending your total appointment time to 2 hours 30 minutes.

    All of our therapists are fully qualified hair stylists, ensuring a seamless and professional finish to your experience.

  • Our package includes a salon finish blow dry and style.

    If a blow dry is not required you will receive a longer service on the head spa bed.

  • We are able to accommodate individuals with disabilities. However, please note that our location is on the first floor. While there is lift access, please be aware that we are situated in an older building, and the disabled restroom is located on a different floor.

    We cannot assist with lifting anyone, so we kindly ask you to bring someone to help if needed.

  • The Head Spa is a private space with an all-female team, designed to ensure complete comfort and relaxation. Each guest is welcomed into their own private room.

    We are also able to accommodate small group bookings of up to four guests, ideal for friends/ family who wear hijab/niqab - who wish to enjoy the experience together.

    This is one of our most sought-after experiences.

  • All of our ingredients are safe for any kind of treated hair! However, if you have recently had any kind of chemical services within a week before your Head Spa appointment, there is a chance that the colour/keratin may lift during our detoxing process. Therefore, we recommend customers to wait at least a week after any kind of hair treatment before receiving a Head Spa.

    We also recommend waiting at least a week after having a Head spa before doing any kind of chemical services. You wouldn’t want to apply chemicals to a freshly cleaned scalp!

  • Yes! Everyone is welcome. Hair has no gender!

  • Of course you can. We tailor the treatment to the guests needs.

  • We do not have a waiting area. Please arrive alone, doors will open 10 minutes before your allocated appointment time.

    We cannot accommodate for friends, partners or children as this is a private space.

  • The treatment is for you to relax and unwind but if you would like to take some content before or after the treatment, you most certainly can.

    Please refrain from filming during the session as these are private.

    No Photographs or videos will be taken without your consent.

  • Molly, the founder of The Head Spa Manchester, is a certified trainer with over 16 years of experience in the hair industry, driven by a genuine passion for wellbeing.

    She has developed a bespoke training programme, which has been carefully delivered to our in-house team to ensure a consistent and elevated standard of service.

    At present, we do not offer external training. However, due to growing demand, this is something we are looking to introduce in the future.
